@0FJAKE How does <3 hour phone time and 40 mile weeks stack up on this ratio? Asking for a friend…

RUN TIME > PHONE SCREEN TIME I thought of an interesting goal today. I would like to spend more time running than on my phone next week. I know I can do it because I am almost there already, without having explicitly targeted that goal. I've been spending less than 1 hour on my phone the last few days (and most days the last few weeks) while running 19 miles last week to start a new running habit. I'm planning to run 21 miles next week (avg. 3 per day), which is 30 minutes of running per day at a 10 minute per mile pace. That means I'd need to average less than 30 minutes per day on my phone, which I have done for full weeks at a time before, and a couple days this week. While I had never thought to compare my running time to my phone screen time before, it's not an entirely irrelevant comparison now that I think about it. I've found that running while listening to podcasts is a great way to increase my attention span, patience, and discipline, while spending too much time on my phone kills all three of those things, shortening my attention span while making me more impulsive and reactionary. You could probably tell a lot about a person just by looking at their phone screen time to running ratio. My goal next week is for mine to be sub-1.

Introducing the Clanker Ecosystem Fund (CEF) The mission of the CEF is to distribute protocol fees to creators and communities who positively contribute to the Clanker and Farcaster ecosystem $8m has bought 14% of the $CLANKER supply, yet has not proven to be an effective use of funds Sometime in the next few weeks, we'll be redirecting protocol fees back to the ecosystem, as well as using it to fund ongoing Clanker infrastructure more soon -- who's running the fund, how the splits work, and how to get involved. clank clank

Here was my original thesis about @qrcoindotfun ( $QR ) by @0FJAKE back in December. TL;DR is that QR is a daily auction for attention. I was obviously quite wrong about the short term prospects of the token but think it has a chance for a come back here. Chart died with the rest of every onchain token but it is pretty impressive that even amidst this market downturn the daily auctions are still generating revenue. Since this thesis @0FJAKE has launched an app for QR , expanding from being just an @farcaster_xyz mini app (the #1 app for more than a year I may add) and has also surpassed more than a year of continuous daily auctions for attention. x.com/qrcoindotfun/s… x.com/0FJAKE/status/… Similarly he has stacked up a treasury of stables which have been used periodically for buybacks. Attention has value and in the age of AI slop, being able to direct that attention is even more valuable. $QR solves this.

Going from 0 to 100 followers is hard. @qrcoindotfun makes it easy. Yesterday, @TheNexusTrading bid $150 to win the daily auction for attention @qrcoindotfun. They picked up 150 followers to 4x their following in 20 hours. Bootstrap your following with @qrcoindotfun.

If you can recall, QRcoindotfun is very similar to StumbleUpon in the essence you find really cool and useful things without knowing you wanted to find it. Expose yourself to that onchain tech and visit @qrcoindotfun for this experience!

QR (@qrcoindotfun) won't drive the next meta in crypto. But my hope and belief is that it can ride many waves. This is what it was designed to do as an onchain attention machine. To use surfing as an analogy, we don't expect to catch every wave, but we are capable of catching any wave. The more good stuff there is going on in crypto, the more useful @qrcoindotfun becomes through its ability to drive attention to something new, onchain, every day. The last few months have been as dead a time as any I can recall in crypto, certainly since our first auction 390 days ago. But exciting times in crypto have always come and gone and come back again, for the last 15 years, and I don't see any reason this time will be different. It sucks that there hasn't been a good wave in a while, but QR is not underwater. We built the project with an adaptable cost structure that can flex up or down depending on the state of the market. And so we're floating above water waiting for the next wave to surf. The good waves tend to come in waves and our goal is to be alive and well prepared for when the waves come. To the builders and the believers staying active in crypto, respect, and thank you. QR would be nothing without you.
