100+ AVAX have been deposited so far for @GM10xyz round 1
ELI5’ing this:
- you put AVAX in the deposit contract, you get $CATCH back
- when round is complete, a polygon safe will be created to be attached to the treasury. this will be done to buy pokémon cards on @Courtyard_io
- courtyard is just the first marketplace the system is supporting, with expansion to other marketplaces over time
- cards (NFTs) are held in the safes of the respective chains, but accounting is centralized on c-chain
- when a card from the treasury is sold, profits are split to pay an interest back to holders and to replenish treasury and $CATCH liquidity pools
- holders can monitor the performance of the cards from a dashboard that will be live soon after the first round is complete
- holders can monitor the card portfolio at all times on the website
- if the 1st round won’t reach capacity, i’ll refund everyone and we’ll call this experiment a failure, i’m not afraid of saying it
if you believe pokémon cards will make a splash this year but don’t want to buy the cards yourself, this is the way to do it

Now the real work is about to begin: I'll deploy the polygon safe and start buying the first cards and update the website with the new pages for token holders

Round 1 has successfully been fully raised! 500 AVAX in to buy the first pokémon cards on courtyard and show the true performance of this RWA segment. Round 1 won't accept deposits anymore. The round is now closed. 100 AVAX were reserved to seed liquidity on both @LFJ_gg and @PharaohExchange. A split of the proceeds of every card will be used to replenish liquidity on both pools, increase the treasury funds and pay interests to the token holders. This is not a drill. This is a product built on the most nostalgic RWA segment there could be onchain. The job starts now. Thank you so much for the support!
