End of Exercise.
Exercises are vital for our mission readiness, and we apologize for the lack of prior communication. We’re fortunate to call Tulsa home and for such an amazing community concerned with our well being. You can expect future posts ahead of similar exercises.
@138thFW@RobertDinTulsa Thank you. I do wish there would be some kind of notification or context added to the scanner traffic. That had me very concerned. Regular citizens listening wouldn't know any difference, I wouldn't have without this response.
Tulsa Scanner:
Explosion at the Oklahoma National Guard in Tulsa.
I can't isolate their channel but I hear a lot of garbled radio traffic from the Oklahoma National Guard in Tulsa. They have some damage to the SE corner of building 230. I'm looking for a map of the building numbers but I don't have a lot of hope finding one.
Active scene.
@138thFW@RobertDinTulsa Was outside a few minutes ago and thought I heard what sounded like a tornado siren in the distance, it was quick & stopped. I assumed my ears were playing tricks on me. Thanks for all you do!
@OffTheHookWNana@RobertDinTulsa Yes, it's a drill. Our Security Forces are actively training in building clearing munitions on the North side of the base.
