I don’t know, but Q said things like that all the time. Jazz musicians are masters of their instrument and a different kind of cat. Q also said the Beatles were just a white version of R&B. Seems like he didn’t have much respect for them or their music. To me the Beatles were a pop band, not a R&B or rock band.

Quincy Jones had no filter and was never one to hold back his opinion. Paul McCartney played drums on several Beatles tracks and other drummers were brought in at times to record drum tracks for Ringo as well. This was common in the 60s and still happens today. If a musician is struggling to play a certain part, the Producer brings in a hired gun to finish the job. Steely Dan was notorious for doing that.

Hey @AnthonyRod33 check this out. Music is subjective and Quincy Jones comes from the Jazz side of the business. He certainly was not impressed with the Beatles as musicians.

Chuck Norris and I trained at Samson’s Gym in Orange, California in the late 80s. Even though he was a huge star and had a bodyguard and entourage at the gym, he was cool and friendly with everyone. As it turns out nobody can hide from the grim reaper. Rest in Power Legend!

I will always remember where I was when I heard the news, standing in a long line waiting to get in to Disneyland. The Waddle trade is no longer Fantasyland, it is more like Tomorrowland. Love it! Reading the tea leaves it sure seemed like it could happen. Davis Webb and Bo seem to be tight and he will provide a fresh approach to energize the O. Good for Sean for handing over the keys to the Ferrari.

NE D is legit and keeping them in the game. Drake Maye looks like he did against the Broncos, the game is too big for him. He had a great regular season, but this is his 4th straight post season game that he looks lost. Lots of time left if he can get it together.
