In 2010, MindGeek (then called Manwin) bought it and basically built a porn monopoly...they own Brazzers, RedTube, YouPorn and a bunch of others. Same parent company. Most people don't know they're all the same business.. which is kinda genius. the name is just a straightforward compound word. the actually wild part is the ‘traffic numbers’...it consistently ranks in the top 10 most visited websites *on earth.*..above Twitter. Above Amazon. Some years above Netflix.
