BREAKING: Vitalik states that @Pumpfun has killed memecoins by turning new retail investors entering the crypto space into degenerate gamblers and with no real-world use, the industry will die fast. He also stated that @pumpfun has been a net negative to crypto since it was released in 2024 by draining the $crypto ecosystem with coins like the $Trump coin eroding trust.

Update for 33 Passholders: Nifty Gateway is shutting down on April 23, 2026 and the platform is already in withdrawal-only mode. If you still have passes or art there, make sure you move them to your own wallet before that date. -- When you move passes from Nifty Gateway to OpenSea they might show up as spam or in your hidden folder. This can happen because many people will be transferring at the same time. If that happens, no worries. Your passes are safe. Just unhide them on your OpenSea profile. -- The reason moving them to your own wallet matters is because we will take a wallet snapshot soon. We are replacing the old VIP and Gold pass contracts with a much better system. What you hold in your wallet at the time of the snapshot will determine your airdrop. -- Airdrop details: 1 Gold Pass → 1 33Key 1 VIP Pass → 1 Key Fragment After the airdrop you will be able to redeem a 33Key for 5 Key Fragments Early on, fragment holders will still be included in drops. Over time we will shift to requiring a full 33Key. -- The 33Key is exactly what it sounds like.  It will unlock future drops, experiences, and the next phase of what we are building together. -- What you should do now: Move your passes off Nifty Gateway Keep them in your own wallet. I see less and less great art on my timeline. At first I thought it was just the algo. But I’m starting to realize it might be something else. More and more artists seem to have gotten discouraged from posting. Sharing their work every day into the void, slowly getting overwhelmed by the feeling that no one is seeing it or caring anyway. And when artists stop sharing, we all lose. A lot of great art simply disappears from our timelines. So please share the art you see and love. Even if it’s just a retweet, a reply, or a small thread about it. Anything helps!
