I respectfully disagree Rick. You’re doing well in this regard. It is us - other golf media members and lovers of municipal golf - who need to pick up this advocacy work with you.

@mvormittag PGA does something arguably better, allowing a number of teaching professionals space to play in the field. Love it.

@36aday Amateur participation is not unique to The Masters. The PGA Championship is the only major that doesn't have this and for obvious reasons.

The Tiger Woods story is still emerging. Regardless of details of what happened, it is the future that I hope will see healthy and positive changes for the best golfer of this generation. That said, it’s not a golf story to me, it’s a story of a father and philanthropist.
