One thing I like about the Institute for Protein Design, in Seattle, is that they display models of their prior achievements at the entrance. More research centers should have a "trophy room," just like sports teams. It may help students think more ambitiously, etc.

Bitter sweet day, the last day of Modeling the Molecular World @3DMolDesigns Teachers modeled chromosomes & DNA rep. 1 pic shows many of the models we used this week! Everyone was EXCITED to use these models in their classes! Grateful to be able to share w such AWESOME teachers!

Received a tour…

Took a slight detour on my way back to Chicago from Oshkosh, & was warmly welcomed by Diane & Tim Herman of @3DMolDesigns where I was initially baptized in the art of engaging student learning of the molecular world underlying life! It was great to catch up! I’ll be back!
