Played (as black) in the 4NCL today. My opponent played this early bishop move in the exchange French. She was prepped for it but it certainly surprised me.

The crowds were out earlier in the evening celebrating Kingston's glorious achievements in the @4NCL. Simply the best!

Of course I wore a Star Wars T-shirt on #MayThe4th for the final round of the 4NCL season I lost so I ended on only 3.5/9 but opposition was very strong!

Back playing in the #4ncl, and another Stonewall Dutch. Here I played 15...N7f6 hoping for 16 Nxe6 Ng4 17 Nxd8 Rxh2+ 18 Kg1 Nxf4! (Diagram) with a pretty checkmate. My opponent blitzed out 16 Ne5; not having any of my nonsense 😆 I was very lucky to draw in the end...
