Trump doesn't understand Catholics. This is Trump’s blind spot: Trump’s financial and political successes are rooted in a personality cult surrounding the TRUMP brand. Even his preferred religious leaders are appointed solely because they are loyal to Trump first. Trump has failed to understand that Catholics have a greater allegiance to their Pope in Rome. Trump cannot compete with the Pope. Even when a Pope is mid-tier, Catholics will defend their Pope. Pope means “pop” or “dad” and while we may see flaws in our dad, he's still our dad. Historians will mark Trump’s attack on the Pope as one of the primary events that led to his downfall and the downfall of the Republican Party. The Midterms will be ugly. 2025-2026 was a triumphant year for Catholics with the first American Pope ever and a record-breaking increase in Easter conversions. Trump chose the absolute worst moment to throw darts at the Pope, publish profanity on Easter Sunday, and post himself as a “red cross doctor with glowing hands.” Trump cooked himself. He should have celebrated an American Pope and harnessed all the exuberant Catholic energy moving into 2026. But Trump shares the stage with no one. Instead, he attacked the one American who is more powerful and more popular than himself: the American Pope. Trump was blinded by his own (declining) aura.

I've introduced HR 8470, the Surveillance Accountability Act, with @RepBoebert. It requires a probable cause warrant before the federal government can search your private data — even if that data is held by a third party. Warrantless searches are unconstitutional.

We're starting to reach moral panic over the missing scientist narrative, but I'll allow it because Amy deserves the spotlight she never got in life. Amy's father, NASA engineer Richard Eskridge tried to get her to recreate Eugene Podkletnov's antigravity experiment while she was in high school. She later called out Martin Tajmar for rigging the null recreation results by intentionally not using a bilayer. "Aren't you aware that the most interesting phenomenon in world happens across the gradients?" The bilayer design has been compared to Josephson Junctions, which just won a Nobel prize for macroscopic quantum tunneling.
Collin Rugg@CollinRugg

NEW: Researcher working on anti-gravity technology, whose death was ruled a su*cide, sent a text just one month before her death saying she would never kill herself, according to the Daily Mail. Amy Eskridge was found with a gunshot to the head in Huntsville, Alabama. Eskridge told a friend that she had been the target of multiple physical and psychological attacks, including being a victim of an “energy weapon,” before her death. “If you see any report that I killed myself, I most definitely did not. If you see any report that I overdosed, I most definitely did not. If you see any report that I killed anyone else, I most definitely did not,” she reportedly said in a text in May 2022. In an interview before she died, Eskridge said she was getting scared and said she needed “to disclose soon.”

Stanley Meyer died on March 20, 1998, at a restaurant in Grove City, Ohio. He was meeting with two Belgian investors about his water fuel cell. He took a sip of cranberry juice, grabbed his throat, ran outside, and collapsed. His last words: "They poisoned me." The coroner found no poison "known to American science."

It’s true. Years ago I sent a full dossier to AJ on the MH370 videos and even gave him permission to use it without crediting me because I just wanted the info out there. He never looked at it and never spoke about the MH370 videos. This was actually the main reason I don’t trust him. Dudes entire brand is grifty click bait conspiracy content but a real conspiracy that can be proven back to the CIA where the leaker is identified he refused to look at. Meanwhile he’ll preach about how evil the CIA is to Tucker. LOL ‘ok’

Maryland will become the first U.S. state to ban "surveillance pricing" in grocery stores. Grocers are starting to use electronic price tags that can increase/decrease the price of goods by using the customer's personal data, and Maryland thinks this should be illegal.

The year is 1950. Your doctor lights a cigarette and tells you smoking is fine. He read it in a study. He is telling the truth about having read it. He does not know, or is not saying, that the study was funded by the tobacco industry. The year is 1958. Your doctor tells you to eat less fat. The evidence is contested. The contestation is not in the public messaging. The food industry has been helpful in clarifying which findings deserve attention. Some researchers who published contradictory data have been quietly defunded. Ancel Keys is on the cover of Time magazine. The year is 1962. Your doctor prescribes thalidomide to your pregnant wife for morning sickness. It has been approved. The FDA gave it the green light in Europe. Twelve thousand children will be born with severe limb malformations before anyone in an official capacity acknowledges the problem. The families are told the drug was safe. The drug was approved. Both of these things remain true. The year is 1972. Your doctor prescribes Valium. Britain is in the grip of a benzodiazepine wave that will last two decades. The dependency risk is known internally. It is not shared. Your doctor is not lying to you. He was not told either. The year is 1999. Your doctor prescribes Vioxx for your arthritis. It is newer than ibuprofen, well-tolerated, and Merck has a study showing it works. Merck also has internal data suggesting it roughly doubles the risk of heart attack. This data will not reach your doctor for four more years. Fifty thousand people are estimated to have died in the interim. Merck eventually settles for 4.85 billion dollars. No criminal charges are brought. The year is 2002. Your doctor prescribes OxyContin. Purdue Pharma trained its sales representatives to tell doctors the addiction risk was less than one percent. That figure came from a letter, not a study. The letter was about patients with terminal cancer on short-term doses in hospital settings. Your doctor is a GP with a patient who has a bad back. Nobody draws a distinction. Nobody is required to. The year is 2008. Your doctor checks your cholesterol. Your LDL is elevated. You are prescribed a statin. Nobody mentions that the number needed to treat for primary prevention is approximately 250. Nobody mentions that the muscle deterioration you'll notice over the next two years is listed as a rare side effect rather than a documented pattern affecting a meaningful percentage of patients. The trial that informed the prescription was funded by the manufacturer. Now it is today. Your doctor has new guidelines. New studies. New consensus. He is confident. He has always been confident. The confidence has never been the problem. The confidence is, in fact, precisely the problem.
