well, i finished creating the compound interest calculator i wished existed, and it’s also my first personal project 😁 it’s not monetized, and it doesn’t even have a polished domain, but it’s exactly what i wanted here it is, if you want to try it out: redwood-ruddy.vercel.app

WHOOP really cooked with this feature. I want to compete against myself. I want to compete against others. I want to share my results.. It's free marketing for them, and a net positive for society because in the end, everybody wins by competing for a healthier lifestyle.

AI helped me to push 1,000,000 lines of code daily and finally build my SaaS. It has 898k active monthly users. All in 2 months. Unfortunately, can't share the SaaS yet because it's super niche and people might steal my idea.

Am I deserving of calling myself an Entrepreneur now? After successfully scaling my app to 57 paid users with $253 in revenue in the first 2 months.

@alex_prompter i appreciate the comparison, but calling potential security vulnerabilities a “win” is kinda crazy 😅

I tested ChatGPT 5 and Grok 4 with same critical prompts. The results will blow your mind. ChatGPT 5 Vs. Grok 4 (Video demos are included)

Working on a new Landing page design, and here is the first look. Designers call it clean. Clients call it premium. I call it Done.

day 6 of building my first project in public 👨‍💻 i added the first feature that separates my calculator from all the others i see: the ability for multiple terms!! every other calculator assumes your contributions stay the same forever, but that’s just not real life

day 5 of building my compound interest calculator in public 👨‍💻 dang, my first day of not working on this project 😅 sometimes you just have to let other things you care about take priority 🤷‍♂️ it’s a marathon, not a sprint (don’t let any scrum masters read this lol)

@filippkowalski even doing this while not the sole breadwinner is scary. kudos to you, i’m pumped that it worked out for you!! how did you deal with that stress? did you use it to just keep building?

Got laid off from a crypto startup where I was making $140k/y. After a month or two of looking for a job and facing annoying leetcode questions (I didn't want to waste time on preparing for this stuff) I decided to take a leap and go full mobile dev indie. I got slightly lucky because I found a niche that allowed me to grow my app organically and after 6-9 months I was ramen profitable. Later I sold this app for 6 figures. Super stressful though because I'm a sole breadwinner for my family (2 kids) and we just moved countries. I think I had $20k-$25k in savings. Turns out this lay off was a blessing in disguise. Also to be fair I tried launching my products many times before for the past 7-10y

this compound interest calculator i’m building is simple — but it means a lot to me it’s not just about money. i think about compound growth all the time most days, i feel like i’m not doing enough but i always try to remember: small things, done consistently, really add up
