Hey @AAMI, care to explain this? Contents Insurance: 2024: $554.70 2025: $682.81 2026: $1,044.60 Zero claims. Same stuff. 88% increase in three years. Genuinely curious what risk model produces this? Asking for a friend who can no longer afford these cost-of-living increases.

If the repairs are almost done, why are you saying there are still delayed parts to refuse me a loan vehicle? @AAMI You are misinforming me while your system shows that the repairs are almost done.

Despite acknowledged delays and missed SLAs, @AAMI continues to refuse providing a loan vehicle while charging full insurance premiums for a car I haven’t been able to use. The repairer cited staffing shortages, but this should not become the customer’s burden. As a policyholder, my contract is with the insurer—not their supply chain. This raises serious questions about accountability and customer fairness. I request your urgent intervention to connect me with the appropriate leadership team to resolve this without further delay. It is disappointing that an organisation of this scale allows such responsibility gaps, leaving customers stranded for months while collecting premiums. At this point, I expect: - Immediate provision of a loan vehicle or - A fair resolution for the prolonged loss of use. Time has come to reveal that I’ve not had a good experience dealing with @AAMI . Almost 7 weeks since my car was stolen they’ve been stonewalling paying me. I’ve escalated matter to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. So everyone knows insurance company is @AAMI

Did you know @AAMI Insurance will refuse to tow your car if you want roadside assistance to attend first to see if they can jump start you! You’re 50 minutes from home to drop your Nephew to his mum at hospital and break down 3 minutes from the hospital.

Terrible experience lately with @AAMI. My car was towed to a body shop here in Melbourne over 6 weeks ago. No one looked at it for the first 15 days, and I only got the quote after follow-ups on the 17th day. Now the repairer designated by @AAMI says the vehicle won’t be ready until 30 April—3 months from the day it was towed. A new car is built in a day, yet bodywork takes 90 days? 😲 It’s shocking how such large companies, supposedly covering your risk, are so terrible at operations. Despite speaking to multiple people, they still haven’t provided a loan car—even after breaching their initial SLA for providing a quote on time. When I contacted their complaints team, they said they’d get back to me within 30 days.

@AAMI I have DMed the details. I have raised a complaint with IDR and I am planning to go to AFCA for this. This is really ridiculous and misleading and misrepresentation of information you deny claim saying you won’t insure drivers with suspension whereas your system says otherwise

@AAMI A 'surface clean' doesn't fix 8 weeks of meth outgassing in seat foam. My kids would be breathing those fumes every time the heater or AC is on. A bucket and sponge doesnt cut it. Would you put your family in a mobile drug lab?

Hey @AAMI, @Suncorp my stolen vehicle has confirmed positive meth contamination. The repairer initially quoted a full interior refit, later removed after insurer review. No NATA-accredited lab testing conducted. Hire car support ends tomorrow. Would you put your family in it??

@AAMI Thanks Ollie. Still waiting since Dec 15. Thieves had car 6 days; recovered Dec 29. Why did AAMI order the assessor to ignore his refit recommendation for a mere surface clean after 8 weeks of meth/bio contamination? Would you expose your kids to that??
