The Forum Officials Sub-Committee on Prioritisation and Resourcing (FSPR) convened at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat on 21 November, chaired by His Excellency, Mr Joseph Ma’ahanua, High Commissioner of Solomon Islands to Fiji. Key matters discussed included updates on the Secretariat’s annual corporate plan for 2026, workplan and budgets, update from the Pacific Ocean Commissioner on its Strategic Plan and institutional arrangements review. The FSPR meets at least twice annually, or as frequently as required to ensure strong governance and resourcing for the Secretariat to effectively deliver its mandate and serve the Forum. #OneBluePacific #Regionalism

Eli Katoa has returned to Melbourne and after further assessment has been discharged from hospital to continue his recovery from home. Storm indicate that while there is no timeframe on his recovery or possible return to training, Katoa will not return to training this pre-season and won’t be available for the 2026 season. “He has a long road ahead in his recovery and his focus will be on returning to full health before considering any form of return to training.” Wish Eli the best with his recovery process ahead.
