Kidney allocation priorities save lives—but also shape how patients act. Expanding deceased donor access reduces reliance on living donors and lowers mortality, but effects differ across groups. (1/2)

Med cannabis law adoption induces sustained reductions in pain-medication use, esp opioids, among commercially insured patients. On avg, patients prescribed opioids drop by over 100 per 10,000 enrollees qrtrly within 4 yrs after policy adoption.(1/3)
