𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐅 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 | AS London 2-1 Dunmow Town As promised, there were goals at both ends in an entertaining first half. Dunmow Town took the lead early on after we were caught out by a defensive error, allowing them to capitalise and go ahead. We responded well and found the equaliser soon after. From a corner, the ball dropped to Sekou, who controlled it well before smashing a powerful finish into the bottom corner. The pressure continued as Sekou and Louis pressed high, forcing a mistake from the centre-back. Louis nicked the ball, looked up at the goalkeeper and confidently slotted his finish into the near post to give us a 2–1 lead going into half-time.

𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇!! Our next challenge sees us welcome Dunmow Town to New River as we look to build on what was an entertaining previous meeting between the sides. When the two teams met in February, it was a game full of action and goals, ending in a 3–3 draw. There always seems to be goals when these two sides meet, so we’ll be expecting another lively encounter. All signs point to another high-scoring contest tomorrow 👀

The energy didn’t drop, we kept pushing and it paid off again when Kai picked out Kevin, who made no mistake in doubling our advantage with a composed finish. They hit back after a frantic scramble in our box, forcing the ball over the line and setting up a tense final spell. But we refused to let it slip. The back line dug in, the midfield battled for every second ball, and when called upon, David Wloch delivered in style. Big saves. Big presence. A match-winning performance and a fully deserved Man of the Match. That’s back-to-back wins and three games unbeaten. ⏱️ FULL TIME | Cannons Wood 1–2 AS London The damage was done in the first half as AS London capitalised on two Cannons mistakes to take a 2–0 lead. Cannons Wood responded well after the break and pulled one back, pushing hard for an equaliser but AS London stuck firmly to their game plan. A stop-start second half with plenty of interruptions and AS London players kept going down broke up the rhythm. Frustrating one for Cannons, who showed real fight but couldn’t quite find that leveller.

𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐅 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 | Cannons Wood 0- 2 AS London A brilliant first half under the Friday night lights with intensity from the very first whistle. David was absolutely essential to our early success, pulling off a couple of crucial saves and then producing a huge 1v1 stop after rushing out bravely to deny their attacker. That moment kept the momentum firmly with us. Around the 20th minute, Louis thought he had opened the scoring after rounding the keeper and finishing calmly, but the flag went up for offside. It didn’t take long for the breakthrough to come though. Al Moataz produced a great piece of play down the wing before squaring it across for Louis, who made no mistake this time and fired home a superb finish. We struck again almost immediately. Kai Peters delivered a brilliant ball into the box and Kevin rose high above his man, looping a fantastic header past the keeper. A dominant and exciting first half performance, sharp, clinical and full of quality all over the pitch!
