Yh, there are weird people, but I’m never going to buy the idea that your Twitter mutuals aren’t your friends. Two people bought cars from me last month, and neither of them is on Twitter. They were referred by my mutuals, one is someone I trade crypto with, the other is just regular TL banter. I’ve never met either of them, and till now I still wonder what they told their friends that made them send 15M+ to me to deliver a car without ever seeing me. After the deals were done, I even tried to give my mutuals “at all at all” as appreciation, but both of them didn’t collect a single naira from me.
