Today, most new numbers go to newer area codes, but 404 has remained limited. It’s often tied to long-time residents, legacy businesses, and those closest to the city’s core.

It started as Georgia’s only area code, became rarer as the city grew, and is now the code everyone associates with living in The A. Today, 404 is rare. It’s coveted. It’s the one you don’t just get, you inherit it. On this 404 Day, we celebrate the number that’s more than digits, it’s history, it’s culture, it’s the soul of Atlanta.

@MBStadium hosted two @USMNT friendlies against two top ten teams in the world, Portugal and Belgium, with nearly 140,000 fans packing the Benz across the two matches.

Short-term fixes for TSA may provide relief, but they don't solve the underlying problem. Just last fall, we endured the longest government shutdown in modern history. Now we're here again. Disruptions at @ATLairport have consequences for the national economy, and we cannot keep repeating this cycle. TSA workers and the traveling public should not be collateral damage. Congress needs to explore all the options available to ensure our system is reliable and resilient.
