What position does Emery recruit first in the transfer window?

@BackoftheTrini1 Let’s see what Emery does. Personally I think he has a role this season. We only need an injury to Watkins and/or Ings and we’re in trouble. Could also be the type of forward we need if we want to change a game be it formation or something different for opponents.

What we all thinking about Cam Archer ? I feel we should look to get him out on loan in January as clearly he looks 3rd choice? Clearly a promising forward who needs game time. #AVFC

@BackoftheTrini1 Keep for now and replace if needed in next few seasons. Hopefully KKH can develop on loan and challenge next season to push him and keep him honest.

Matty Cash: when he first signed as a converted winger I thought he'd be a good signing, initially started well enough but since then his weaknesses of not being able to contribute in either box well enough has been a big problem. Keep or sell? #AVFC

@BackoftheTrini1 I think he has a role to play but I'd like to see more of the Scotland McGinn than recent AVFC McGinn. This is where I think the being able to use 5 subs could benefit us. I don't think many teams would like to see SJM (Scotland) warming up on 60+ mins

John Mcginn? I find it hard to criticize him as he gives everything on the pitch. But his quality is really lacking ATM. Do we give him a run out the side until after the WC? #AVFC

Heard the news about Emery yesterday didn’t want to get hyped only for a crash to come later but now I’ve slept on it and considered other options I’m genuinely excited to see where we go. I just hope as a fan base we stick with him if he hits a sticky patch #avfc #utv

@villareport Numb. I expected next to nothing and, honestly it feels like that’s what happened. I believe with the way we “play” atm, the game could be 900 minutes long and we’d still not be able to break a team down.

@AVFCFaithful_ Underwhelmed but not giving up. We will have bad days where we scrape a win & we will have days where we look like a proper top 6 team, we need to go through rough s*** first. I don’t like it but that’s the reality atm. One saving grace there are teams that are worse this season.

@BBCMOTD VAR is for clear an obvious errors. This is another example of a clear & obvious error that VAR can’t do anything about because of farcical laws regarding the actions of match officials beforehand. Can we honestly say the game is fair when things like this happen. #joke #big6bias

Difficult to rate Villa’s transfer window. At the start I would have said it was 7/10 needed a good box-to-box which I thought we would get. Turned out to be an indifferent window. Loss of DC was huge and possibly changed plans. Overall I’d rate it 5/10. #avfc

If Luiz was on project restart form then I would keep and offer what he wants but he’s not. Fault doesn’t lie with anyone in particular imo and a number of factors have contributed to inconsistency. In ideal world Luiz sold and funds used to help bring in Gallagher #avfc #vtid
