On 30 September, High Commissioner Mridu Pawan Das @IFS_Mridu, UNFPA 🇷🇼 Rep @DrAdelakin, and Head of Workforce Development @RwandaHealth Mr. Menelas Nkeshimana @mnls_nke visited Ruli Higher Institute of Health @HigherRhih in @GakenkeDistrict as part of the project “Aim for change! Advancing Rwanda's Midwifery to accelerate the realization of Zero preventable maternal deaths through South-South cooperation”. The joint delegation undertook a guided tour of various facilities of the institute. The project is providing scholarships to several midwifery students, including 355 Ruli Higher Institute of Health diploma, bachelor and bridging students.
The Aim for change! project, which is supported by a grant of USD 1 million by the Government of India under its India-UN Development Partnership Fund, is a testament to India's commitment to South-South Cooperation. @UNFPARwanda @IndianDiplomacy
