Last year, Alberta’s government committed to undertaking the complex work of refocusing the health care system to give Albertans get the health care system they need, without disrupting the services they rely on. We’ve accomplished a lot so far, including setting up a primary care organization, mental health and addiction organization, and taking a regional approach to health system planning with new health corridors. Moving forward, we will continue working to stand up Alberta’s new acute care and continuing care provincial health agencies to ensure we have a system that works for all albertans, now and for generations to come.
