This will irritate your religious sensibilities but it is the truth. If prayers could fix Nigeria, we would have been the greatest nation in the world. The more we’ve prayed, the worse things have gotten. This is because miracles don’t fix nations, righteous systems do. Prayer is easy. Righteousness is where the work is. And it is righteousness that exalts a nation, not prayers. The righteousness mentioned in Proverbs 14:34 is צְדָקָ֥ה Tzedakah. It means a deep commitment to fairness, treating people right and justice. It speaks to a system that ensures things are done right. We love to pray but not turn from our wicked ways. The equation MUST be complete. 2Chronicles 7:14 Righteous action is what validates our prayers. Prayers CANNOT fix Nigeria. Demand a better leadership, protest for justice, fix the right people into systems. Repentance is what we need! A change of orientation from selfishness and greed!

We pacify and cuddle our docility with prayers. We make ourselves believe there is nothing we can do but pray. So we pray and sigh “It is well”. In a democracy, if all of us come out and grind this evil leadership to a halt, it will flee. But No! We want the little comfort we barely enjoy. We like how we are managing while life is still being squeezed out of us everyday. The politicians know, so they encourage us to pray. It is a mockery. They know that your prayers mean nothing as long as you choose not to revolt. They want us to accept fate while they determine it. They also know that your prayers wishing them death are futile. They’ve made peace with the fact that they are evil. Hence, they’ll do anything to stay alive at our expense. Afterall, the God that didn’t kill Buhari can choose not to kill Tinubu. And if he does now, Tinubu has lived a full life on Nigeria’s resources while many futures have been ruined by death, poverty and insecurity. Gowon is still alive, so is IBB. Praying alone cannot work. We can, and should do more than pray. God will not start a protest. We must have the willpower to enforce righteousness in Nigeria. God is not a Nigerian.

CONTINUOUS ABDUCTION OF NIGERIAN SCHOOLCHILDREN AND THE COLLAPSE OF SCHOOL SAFETY After congratulating Nigerian children as they celebrate their day today, my heart remains heavy and troubled, knowing that some Nigerian children have remained in captivity for years. It is a shame that days, weeks, months, and even years have passed while our children continue to languish in kidnappers’ dens, with their heartbreaking images still circulating on social media. A nation that cannot protect its children from criminals has little but shame to present to the global community. No parent can bear the shame of being unable to protect his or her children, yet here we are as a nation, moving on while our children continue to suffer in forests and captivity for years. -PO

Dug into the data of child welfare in Nigeria understand Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the things I found Ade truly astounding. I'm afraid! Health Minister says 850k children die every year under Tinubu yet health budget is less than 7%. Happy Children’s Day 1000reasons.vote/childrens-day

It’s Children’s Day. Around the world, children are with food, with friends, with families. In Nigeria, under Tinubu, a child is more likely hungry, out of school, or kidnapped for ransom. I created 6 chapters focused on this. Please read and share. #chapter-1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">1000reasons.vote/childrens-day#…
