@neustradamus @antifarben @xmpp I'm sorry but you're ill-informed. Libpurple (and with it, Pidgin and Adium) may not support some of the features XMPP has. But they do support the "XMPP protocol". *RV

@Anon_Aidan It's likely to be a bug in Adium. For now, all I can suggest is to see if connecting only account at a time brings an improvement. *RV

@BradleyRPayne Adding support for them isn't that unrealistic. as libpurple plugins exist for most of them. They just need wrappers. *RV

@michaelnugent Agreed on all points. It would be fantastic to get Adium back to its former usefulness. All it needs is some developers with a soft spot for Adium and Objective-C. *RV

With the number of people still using @Adium, I feel they should start a Kickstarter campaign just like Twitterrific did to restart the Mac app development. Now is a better time than any with the sparse number of chat services out there to bring them all under one roof again.
