@adrianiw Tram patronage is decreasing across the network as people increasingly defer non-essential travel. We recommend that, if possible, you limit your trips to during off-peak time to assist us with maintaining separation on-board. Thank you. (2/2)
To limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), trams will have increased sanitisation on all touch points and be disinfected more often. Services across the network will run as normal despite increased cleaning measures.

@yarratrams So your solution to encourage social distancing is by reducing the number of seats available? Where the passengers are forced to cram instead
@adrianiw Hi, in line with recommendations from the Department of Health & Human Services the seats closest to the driver have been taped off to encourage social distancing. The second row of tram seats are now being treated as priority seating for passengers who may require it. (1/2)
@yarratrams The tram that I got on this morning closed off the three sets of seat on the front row and the back row to protect the driver, but instead passengers had to sit next to each other while the driver is behind the plastic door. How is this safe practice of social distancing?
