And you wonder why international news keep writing only bad things about Uganda. Why do you need flag off the food?Just send it. It's like having no food in your house and you put a notice on your door and still expect visitors.
NBS Television@nbstv

The Government of Uganda, represented by the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. @R_Nabbanja, has flagged off relief food to be distributed to communities in the Karamoja sub-region affected by food insecurity. The relief food includes 200,000 kilograms of maize flour and 100,000 kilograms of beans. 📸: @francis_isano #NBSUpdates

Ever since I was a small baby, the government and various NGOs have been donating and injecting a lot of money into Northern Uganda. It hurts that we still see the government delivering posho and beans as relief. I feel the people responsible are not doing enough to create sustainable impact. (Long-term solutions)

Andrew Wilson Orlando told @PoliceUg that by late 2021, he was working directly with a senior military intelligence officer, collecting information on the officer’s instructions and reporting his findings back to him. It is in 2021 that CMI assigns @artfulgypzy to start scripting a fake treason case against @kizzabesigye1 & other Ugandans.

One day a woman called me from State House Entebbe. Euphonious voice with a touch of western accent, I will give it that. Smooth and deliberate, the voice of someone trained to deliver difficult propositions without sounding like they are delivering difficult propositions. Mzee would like you to return to Uganda, she said. Which Mzee, I asked. There are many old men in Uganda. I added. Museveni, she said. On what deal do I talk to despots, I asked. You will be protected, she said. And given a great job. I sat with that for a moment. Protected. A job. In Uganda, the only people who enjoy genuine protection are those of despot Museveni's bloodline. They move through the country like weather: untouchable, unavoidable, arriving and departing without consequence. I am not of his bloodline. I told her this. I told her I was not interested. I also told her that if I ever decided to return to Uganda I would not be requiring anyone's permission. I can return any time I want. That is what a passport is for although I have none. The following week she called back. She had reported our entire conversation to Mzee, she said. He had listened carefully. He was sending my passport, she said, together with a package to facilitate my return. We would then sit down and discuss my security and resettlement. Protect me against whom, I asked. Anyone who would want to hurt you when you come back, she said. I thought about this. The only people who have ever wanted to hurt me in Uganda are the people who have already hurt me: tortured me, imprisoned me three times, and driven me into exile. Those same people now wanted me to come back so they could protect me from themselves. You must think I am an idiot, I said. But Mzee wants to solve that problem, she said. You are being elusive like a piglet that has bathed in oil. I appreciated the imagery. It was the most honest thing said in either conversation. I immediately remembered the oiled piglets they used in demonstrations at parliament. I told her the only arrangement under which I could feel genuinely protected in Uganda was if I were to marry and balloon one of Museveni's daughters. Then I would have skin in the game, so to speak. Some structural guarantee. Family dinners as a deterrent. Unfortunately, I said, he has no young single daughters available. And in any case I have no interest in placing my sperm in the ovaries of dumb people. Tututututut, she hang up the phone. She was Whatsap-calling from a UK number: +447564567149. I noted it down. You never know when a number becomes evidence. I later investigated and they told me it is Natasha Karugire-Museveni's secret number.

So @PoliceUg admits to having stopped Muwanga Kivumbi at a checkpoint on his way from Butambala but denies knowing his whereabouts!! Says they only stopped him at a checkpoint but never arrested him, abducted or detained him.. when there’s a whole video of him being shoved into a car at that very same “checkpoint” that @PoliceUg stopped him at. 11 days later the same @PoliceUg can’t account for him, his family and loved ones are in anguish not knowing whether he’s dead or alive…When do we say enough is enough to this bs?? #WhereIsMuwangaKivumbi

Joel Ssenyonyi did what many never expected. Standing before General. Museveni, and sending a message to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, top military commanders, and the country's political elite, the Leader of the Opposition could have chosen the easy path. He could have delivered a safe, emotional tribute to the late Gen. Moses Ali and walked away. Instead, he turned a moment of mourning into a powerful constitutional reminder. Although Joel Ssenyonyi's politics stood in sharp contrast to those of the late Gen. Moses Ali, he put political differences aside to acknowledge his service, leadership, and sacrifices. It was a display of statesmanship that few could criticize. But then came the part that changed the mood in the room. The lawyer in Joel Ssenyonyi took over. With Museveni and CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba listening, he reminded Uganda's leaders that the Constitution is not optional. He stressed that the rule of law must be respected and that no one regardless of rank, office, or military power is above the law. In that moment, this was no longer just a tribute. It became a constitutional challenge delivered straight to the country's most powerful figures. While others chose emotion, Joel chose principle. While others praised the past, Joel confronted the present. His speech wasn't just about honoring a fallen general it was a reminder that the greatest tribute any nation can pay its heroes is to protect the Constitution they swore to defend. For many supporters of the Museveni regime, those words were unlikely to be comfortable. What was expected to be a solemn ceremony became, in my view, a moment of accountability, as the Leader of the Opposition used the national stage to remind Uganda's mis-leaders that power without respect for the Constitution undermines the very foundation of the state. Joel Ssenyonyi didn't simply deliver a tribute. He delivered a message the powerful could not ignore. YouTube - youtu.be/vblywjZ8gho

As you can tell by the name of the school, here’s Museveni’s grandson listening to the advice from his criminal grandfather Museveni on not going to western world schools, he graduated from “Ndejje”University. 😂 Museveni will go down in history as empty vessel lying criminal thug.

@RuzindanaA The last time the U.S. government issued a Level 4 advisory on Uganda was in Feb. 1977, two weeks after Janani Luwum's death. This effectively doubles as an advisory to U.S. companies not to invest in Uganda.
