And there it is. They're finally admitting it. This is all this has ever been about. Not hostages. Not ending Hamas. Not self defense. Not mass rapes. Not beheaded babies or babies placed in ovens. This has always been about taking land from the indigenous people of Palestine.

Please please do not let this become normalised. every time you see an image or video of a screaming child, a burning woman, a man crying because he lost everything, sit with it. Take it in and let it fill you with grief and rage, and let that move you to demand an end to this.

I intended to post something 2 days ago, but it was so tough.. so I opted to spend the day with my family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒 In my mind I can’t believe we’re entering year 2 of this ongoing aggression 😨 Every Gazan has lost way too much during this year. The pain & grief are unmatched. Personally , I lost my home, my siblings’ houses, my career and had to say goodbye to way too many friends But I also held my son 👶between my arms for the first time during this year I got introduced to so many incredible people in Gaza who showed me how resilient & strong we are as a nation. And many others from abroad, who extended support in every way possible This past year will always be a transformative year in my life. I gues i will have to wait to see the aftermath of this transformation, if I survived I learned to be positive in the darkest times, I learned that giving is extremely satisfying! And that an honest prayer for me and my family worth more than money or praise! When those kids say to me “may allah save your family”, it means the world! And yes.. this videos marks the comeback of a fan favorite, rice pudding 🍚 with raisin 🍇, pineapple 🍍, strawberry 🍓 jello and apples 🍎 I was waiting for the jello to set cause there were no fridges! But it is what it is 🙈
