Look out Big 12, Cincy backed up the brinks truck 😭

@BattleCattleFan Craig was hoed at Utah and he 100% needs a second opportunity somewhere to prove that he is actually a good coach

Let's talk potential Head Coaches at USU. Even over multiple AD's, Utah State has had a 'type' over the last four coaches that have been hired - all four of which were highly successful. Something all four had in common: - Under 49 years old - Current Head Coach - Mid/Low Major Conference - Two or more years of 20+ wins. Things not required: - A conference tournament title is not required - NCAA Tournament experience as a Head Coach is also not required. Using (our soon to be overlords) AI, here is the current list that fits that criteria that have not already found a new job: - Travis Steele — Miami (OH) *Probably holding out for a P4 job - Takayo Siddle — UNCW * 5 Straight 20+ win seasons. Just signed a big extension so buy-out may be significant. - Tony Skinn — George Mason *70-29 Last three years - Joe Gallo — Merrimack. * I like this one a lot. Runs a heavy zone offense - really the only one that come close to what USU ran last with Calhoun. Another guy who just signed a fat extension. - Flynn Clayman — High Point. * Mr. Popular right now. He and his wife both coached at Southern Utah so there are some ties. - Brooks Savage — ETSU. * Young, hungry, and wins. I really like this one a lot, too. - Ryan Pedon — Illinois State * Slow build at Ill St, but back to back 22+ wins. If, by chance, Utah State follows the same pattern on the previous four hires, it will be one of those coaches. However, @CamWalker_USU is not a guy that is going to paint himself in a corner. Everything is on the table for the Aggies, as they make one of the most important hires in school history. Which means this list is probably meaningless and now that's 5-7 minutes of your life you're not getting back.

@BradenTClark If a coach can't evaluate talent properly, they won't win, no matter how much dough they throw at dudes. That's why there are winners and losers.

👀🤔 Does this change your opinion if you are against bringing Craig back?

Jerrod Calhoun said "we had other options, there is no doubt about it" in regard to other coaching opportunities. Calhoun said that John Cunningham and his "mentor" Mick Cronin selling it to him helped him make the decision. #Bearcats

@AggieUp Appreciate you
