@BBCPanorama I had withdrawal for 16 months after stopping taking amitriptyline for 4 months for Shingles pain, despite tapering down to the lowest dose pill cut into 1/4. My doctor did not provide me with a tapering plan and didn't recognise my withdrawal symptoms. GPs need to be informed.
