As the year comes to a close, I always take it as an opportunity to reflect. I’ve been working on Aventus for almost a decade. I was 23 when I started, fresh out of university with no idea about anything to do with starting or growing a business, and the world didn’t really know about blockchain back then. But I had an idea and some people that believed in me. Over the last 9 years I’ve worn pretty much every hat in the business, taking on anything that needed to be done, from coding to sales and marketing to operations. In more recent years, as our team has grown, I mostly spend my time educating our partners and potential clients about how blockchain can help them. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not. But it’s been a joy to watch the world slowly understand the potential that this (still) new technology has in solving problems, bringing people together, and creating value. I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far, but like most things in life, it takes a village to reach new heights and full potential. That’s why I am excited to welcome the Aventus DAO Council into our ecosystem to steward our ecosystem’s next phase of growth through Aventus Cloud. Each Council member brings unique experiences and skill sets to help us achieve the mission I have been championing for the last decade, and will continue to champion for the next decade (hopefully!) — bringing real value to real businesses with Web3. I encourage all members of our ecosystem, old and new, to watch our recent AMA about the Council’s plans for the next year, ask questions and share their ideas to help us all succeed in this mission.

Aventus has come a long way since 2017 (and since this photo!) Extremely proud of everything we’ve achieved the last 8 years, and excited for the next chapter. With the launch of Aventus Cloud, the constitution of the Aventus DAO, and the establishment of the Aventus Council spearheading this next era of growth, there’s no doubt in my mind that 2026 is going to be @AventusNetwork’s best year yet.

Spent the last week in the US with Sean, Aventus DAO founding council member, chatting to some cool people about the @AventusNetwork Cloud model. Excited to see the outcome of those conversations come to life! Now to recover from the 12 hour time difference 🫨

No doubt about it - it’s a skill to create a sophisticated tokenomics model and utility architecture, for a token that’s been around since 2017 no less - full credit to the incredible team of engineers, analysts and the Aventus DAO Council who made this happen But it’s also a skill to take those complex ideas and distil them into easy to understand content so everyone can appreciate them - full credit to the Aventus marketing team!

If you could build any appchain, what would it be?

UAE continues to lead the way in mainstream Web3 adoption 🇦🇪 There couldn’t be a better jurisdiction for our DAO to operate out of!

On my way to the US for some exciting meetings about Aventus Cloud nodes. This new offering will help create an incredible flywheel effect of value added to our ecosystem and appchains, as well as reward those who choose to operate one of our nodes and contribute to the decentralised security of the ecosystem. It does mean a 16 hour flight for me though… wish me luck 😵‍💫

Agentic artificial intelligence — AI systems capable of reasoning, planning and taking autonomous action — is often discussed in theoretical terms — but we're a lot closer to seeing these become a reality than many people realise. In fact, some applications are already beginning to take shape in both business and personal contexts.
