@strangesuns i've turned into an overbearing pandemic plant mom in the last couple of years, and i have a whole watering ~routine~ that i do, but when i'm gone i just tell people "just water it once a week on saturday unless one of them looks really wet" and it works fine

@strangesuns overwatering is more of a problem than underwatering for 95% of houseplants. watering once a week is probably good. pick a day of the week, and just water everything that doesn't look like it still has wet soil
