Tbh if Roy had something else than being the rvt captain and hadn't been forced to grow up as quickly as he did, I can definitely see him go for contests/singing while still having his battle oriented vibe 🤔

Korra was a locked away Avatar with no access to the outside world until she was literally a teenager. When she reached the outside world she had to grapple with the fact that it “supposedly” did not need her and everything she was taught was outdated. Her villains were BRUTAL. She literally fought the spirit of evil itself. She was preyed upon numerous times even by her own family. Lost her bending, lost her past lives unintentionally, survived a poisoning and paralysis, overcame PTSD, and is a representation of what it means to practice personal forgiveness & empathy for your mistakes. Also Bisexual diva. Whats not to defend?

@SuspInkling Yeah sometimes I feel like my line leans heavily into water, then other times I feel like it’s mostly fire with some grass mixed in. If anything it shows how many great starters we have in general

I generally prefer fire types, but all three Hoenn starters are excellent, and I don't like Tepig, Fuecoco, and Pombom. When the fire type isn't my favorite, oddly enough, the Grass type tends to be my favorite. This is the case for Snivy, Rowlet, and Sprigatito. That said, Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, and Froakie are excellent Pokemon, they just aren't my favorites.
