@AnthropicAI #wtf. What you're saying here is; Don't spend time with your family this holiday. We're offering this only over the holiday break, so the only way to take advantage of this is to work your ass off over the holiday and ignore your family. #tonedeaf

@x @elonmusk X will never become an everything platform if you can't even log in. This has been broken for years. Maybe hire back some of those engineers you fired and get this fixed? I've secured my accounts with my security key, and haven't been able to log in on Anrdoid ever.

@Chime is trash. Unreasonable restrictions on how you can use your account. Blocking ACH standard transfers for no legitimate reason. Rejecting payments for no legitimate reason. It's not a bank or credit union, it's fraud masquerading as a financial service. Utter garbage.

@amal @KING5Seattle We pay between ten and thirty five thousand dollars per student per year. For nothing.

@drewgrey @KING5Seattle Tying pay directly to test results will only produce students educated for test prep and nothing else. How about just pay teachers really well and only hire quality teachers. Fund schools properly. Good results will follow.

@KING5Seattle They should test each child with standardized tests from 1960 , before the schools were destroyed. Then pay the teachers based on the percentage that could pass. If ten percent passed they get ten percent pay. I bet it would be less than that.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 NOOOOO .. Newton’s law of inertia says : “An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force”

@gunsnrosesgirl3 That depends. I believe because of inertia, this shouldn’t happen if vehicle’s speed remains constant. However, if the vehicle accelerates right after the person jumps, then he would fall in the ground.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Nope, law of inertia. Wind would slow him down a bit but not this much , he would land in pool bangarang and then water splash happen and the street is soaked in water due to wind

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Absolutely wrong. "Newton's law of inertia" ensures the body is in constant motion directly proportional to the vehicle speed. Although there might be a little displacement if vehicle is at a very high speed, but not as much as portrayed in the image.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 No. Inertia, will keep him above the pool. However there will be a slight backward displacement due to air-resistance which can be compensated for by diving with a small forward velocity component.

His inertia would keep him moving at the same speed, but the drag of the air would slow him down a bit.. Not sure it would be as dramatic as in the illustration though.. But that would be depending on the speed of the vehicle since the drag increases exponentially with increasing speed.. 😅

@gunsnrosesgirl3 it is hard to believe but all of us including everything on the planet is constantly in motion along with the earth’s rotation we just don’t feel it due to the law of inertia
