El 11 de diciembre de 2025, la 55ª Sesión del Tribunal Permanente de los Pueblos concluyó en La Haya con una sentencia histórica: reconoce que la eliminación sistemática de las mujeres afganas de la vida pública no es solo discriminación, sino un crimen conforme al derecho internacional. Además, señala que las autoridades de facto en #Afganistán son responsables de crímenes de lesa humanidad, incluida la persecución por motivos de #género.
En la entrevista, la Dra. Orzala Nemat explica por qué se creó el Tribunal, qué establece exactamente esta sentencia y qué acciones concretas deben asumir ahora gobiernos, organismos internacionales y sociedad civil.
