His passion for accessible coaching and his commitment to creating welcoming environments has opened doors for so many people living with sight loss. As Patron, Anders brings not only his professional expertise, but his heart. He understands the power of golf — the confidence it builds, the friendships it creates, and the independence it gives our members. Congratulations to @Anders_Mankert, PGA Master Professional from Leicestershire and Rutland, who has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for his outstanding services to golf and to people with disabilities. Anders, who owns and runs @GolfLeicester, has spent over 30 years making golf more inclusive - from coaching blind and visually impaired players to creating welcoming facilities for golfers of all ages and abilities. His Honorary BEM, awarded as part of the King’s Birthday Honours List, reflects his exceptional contribution to the game and his community. RANGE CLOSED TODAY FOR ONE DAY. We’re today carrying our annual maintenance on award winning Toptracer Range including 45,000 brand new top of the range balls. We will also complete our long term drainage programme. The Gallops is open as usual so why not play 9 holes instead?
