Every child in Arizona deserves to be protected, no matter where they live. In 2016, Ashlynne Mike, an 11-year old Navajo girl, was tragically murdered. Our office took action when we saw there was a major gap in funding for AMBER Alerts on tribal land. We worked with the Trump Administration, Senator John McCain, and across the aisle to fix this issue in honor of Ashlynne and to help save Native American children who are in danger. I’ve built coalitions to get results everywhere I’ve served and I’ll continue to do that as Governor.
