@jonnycaribouthe I totally agree, I was fortunate to survive Stage 3c Bowl Cancer and that has been the main reason for considering retiring early.

@AndyJShepPhoto I think another reason I retired early was that several good friends died in their late 50's just as they were going to retire.Incredibly sad and I thought that could easily have been me.

@jonnycaribouthe That's my biggest concern, I'm 56 and I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it but, it's a long time to be retired and whilst I'm still working I'm making it easier financially in the long run, it's definitely a scary decision even though it shouldn't be.

@AndyJShepPhoto I left stupidly early and couldn't really afford it ,but work was so stressful.Havent regretted a single day though.Best thing I ever did.

@AndyJShepPhoto @MartinSLewis We've got the opposite. The little indie Jet forecourt in Mildenhall has managed to stay a few pence cheaper than even Tesco and Sainsbury's in Bury St Edmunds. How can a small town indie undercut major supermarkets in a much larger town?
