On #NationalAgDay, we’re celebrating all the ways agriculture impacts education in our state! 📚🌾🐓 In classrooms, cafeterias, and extracurriculars, students are learning how food is grown and processed in Arkansas.

It’s great that Arkansas is the first state in the South with universal free school breakfast - and even more exciting to see it in action where I used to go to school!

Murrell Taylor Elementary school is a LEARNS Act success story: they went from an F-rating to a B-rating in just three years. It was incredible to see the leadership at this school today supporting teachers and students through LEARNS and helping every kid succeed. Inspiring to start my week here!

AR School for the Deaf and Blind held a topping-off ceremony for its new instructional building yesterday. Secretary Oliva, Superintendent Walsh, ARDB Board of Trustees, along with students and staff, celebrated the completion of the building's frame by signing the final beam.
