The Arkeo mainnet has gone live! At 15:00 UTC today genesis validators successfully launched the Arkeo mainnet which is now live and producing blocks. A new era for decentralized blockchain data has arrived!

3/ Why it matters + ops checklist: • Timely & correct: events arrive instantly; nonces prevent duplicates and disputes. • Lower waste: no constant polling; cleaner fan-out to many consumers. • Stay in sync: run your own fully synced Arkeo node and keep the WebSocket connection alive. Add health checks/alerts. If things look out of sync, restart Sentinel and reindex. Also schedule regular sync checks against a fully synced node. • Get paid reliably: cron an hourly/daily submitter, keep the settlement window in mind, and use a low-funded hot wallet with strong server security.

2/ How Sentinel works: • Subscribes to chain events (contracts created/updated, expiries, settlements) as they happen. • Records claims off-chain in the order they arrive, preserving nonce order for correctness. • Saves its own state (ClaimStore, configs) so it can reindex on restart and fill any gaps if the process or server goes down. • Exposes endpoints (e.g., open claims, metadata) so your settlement script can batch-submit claims on-chain for automatic payment.

It listens to blockchain events in real time, keeps your provider in lockstep with the chain, and tracks every signed claim with its nonce so usage stays ordered and provable.
