Parents who allow their kids to be coached hard are giving them a gift most young people today never receive — accountability.

This transfer stuff in high school has to stop. Here is a novel idea, grow and develop where your feet are. Learn work ethic, accountability, and leadership skills instead of running away when you don't get your way. This also goes for parents. The grass isn't always greener

The Indians finish the year as the No. 3 team in Class 1A Division I. Not bad for a team ranked No. 44 in the preseason and No. 21 in the state tournament. Congratulations to Armuchee on a great year and an incredibly memorable playoff run.

I get a lot of DMs from parents of 6th, 7th, & 8th graders about getting their child more exposure. They DONT NEED it! Send them to a blacktop or gym with older players and have them work to get better! It’s tried and true! Play against older & better players. They will get better!

Don’t just remember God when you need something.

I have been coaching for a while now, and I have yet to meet an athlete who regrets showing up and working hard during their 4 years in HS. However, the number of athletes who regret not showing up and not working hard is endless. Choose discipline or choose regret. 🤷‍♂️

Dead week in GA does have some benefits. Nothing like the lake on a warm morning. Coaches, some advice from an old dog, find balance in ur lives Wish I had learned this earlier in my career.
