To earn $1 it'd take:
~80 stream on🌊, ~100 for🍎, ~200 on🟢
TIDAL has much less market share overall ~1%. So the user base is small but the power of TIDAL is still mighty! Like 🍎, there's no free tier on TIDAL so our impact to Billboard charts would be 100% premium weighted for any streams done here.
As with🍎Tidal has been seen to be less rigid & tolerates actual stream behaviors of music fans. Rather than requiring rigid playlist structures & micromanagement, TIDAL users have felt free to stream the music they love as they really would, not how a system like🟢basically forces you.
As of July 15, 2026, TIDAL also will be taking a firmer stand against AI generated music. Blocking out largely AI generated music from diluting the artist royalty pool, giving fans the ability to filter out AI content, & removing AI content intended to impersonate legitimate artists.
We may be biased, but TIDAL's sound quality rivals Apple Music. TIDAL is small but still manages to do their best to respect artists by paying them more and is part of why streamers on TIDAL remain loyal😊

@rkivetannie @USARMYonAppleM Spotify is terrible to artists and the CEO has openly disrespected artists. Curious to know how Tidal compares chart wise since I know they pay the artists even more and the sound quality is the best of all streaming services (I’m an AM and Tidal premium user)
