Great day yesterday for rugby festivals in Blaenau Gwent, Firstly to Abertillery park for the primary school tag festival run by @DRA_Community. Then onto @Brynmawr_school for the U14s girls 7s & 10s Festival which saw 95 girls participating and enjoying a day of rugby 🏉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We had Our 2nd Transition game last night with 58 players involved by both sides. Massive thanks to @PenalltaRugby1 for a great physical battle as usual with some free flowing rugby to go with it . It’s good to see both sides getting ready for youth rugby next season 🟢⚪️

⭐️ TRANSITION MASTERCLASS ⭐️ Well done to both @PontypoolUnite and @newbridgerfc for the outstanding work that both clubs are doing around Youth Transition! Great to see 52 players take the field tonight in their U17s fixture, with 28 U16s players involved. Da Iawn Pawb!!

🏉Transtion Event 👏🏽 FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS💡 Catch the action as Pontypool United U16 & U17 side takes on their Newbridge counterparts. This is just one of the transition activities the club runs to help players move from U16 into Youth rugby.
