A woman arrived in a store wearing clothes that showed her body all too well. The shop owner, being a wise older man, took a good look at her, asked her to sit down, looked straight into her eyes, and said something she would never forget for the rest of her life. “Young Lady, everything that God has made valuable in this world, is covered up and hard to see or find." For example: 1. Where can you find diamonds? In the ground, covered and protected. 2. Where are the pearls? Deep in the ocean, covered and protected in a beautiful shell. 3. Where can you find gold? Underground, covered with layers of rock, and to get there you have to work very hard and dig deep. He looked at her again and said, "Your body is sacred and unique to God." You are far more precious than gold, diamonds, and pearls, therefore you must be covered too. He then added: "If you keep your precious minerals like gold, diamonds, and pearls deeply covered, a “reputable mining organization” with the necessary machines, will work for years to mine those precious goods. * First, they will contact your government (family), * Second, sign professional contracts (marriage), * Third, they will professionally extract those goods, and tenderly refine those precious goods. (marital life). But if you let your minerals find themselves on top of the Earth's surface (exposed to everyone), you will always attract many illegal miners to come, exploit, illegally, and freely take those riches and leave you without the precious goods God gave you!

Decide your core principles and be uncompromisingly rigid about them. But in everything else, you ought to be flexible enough to change with the times and new information and technologies. For example, you may believe that there is only one God. That is a core belief. Don't change it. It is central to your identity. But your enmity with your opponent is not a core belief. If tomorrow that person changes, then you can reconcile. You are human. Your knowledge is limited. So as you know more, you must also grow more. And that involves change. People who are inflexible about non-core beliefs can never rise to the top. And if by chance they do get on top, they can't remain there for long. #RenosNuggets

Young unmarried people should learn something from the Strait of Hormuz. Because it is closed, that narrow strip of land and water has become the most sought-after and valuable real estate on Earth. By simply being shut, it has increased the value of the oil that flows from it. The same is true for you. You can immediately and automatically increase your value by keeping your body closed and maintaining your purity and virginity. It will make you more sought after for marriage than those who open themselves before their nuptials. Plus, whatever comes out of you will become more valuable. Scarcity improves your quality. Don't worry that your mates laugh at your virginity. In less than five minutes, you can be like them. But they can never be like you in five million light-years! #RenosNuggets

Federal Ministry of Health, NIGERIA
Media Brief FG ONBOARDS NEW HEALTH FELLOWS, TASKS YOUTH TO DRIVE REFORMS Abuja, Nigeria | March 27, 2026 – The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, has reinforced its commitment to strengthening health system leadership with the onboarding of a new cohort of National Health Fellows. The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, made this known while attending the graduation ceremony of the inaugural cohort and onboarding of Cohort II in Abuja. Addressing the fellows, the Coordinating Minister charged the young professionals to seize the opportunity to drive meaningful change across Nigeria’s health sector, urging them to deploy their skills, innovation, and leadership for national development. The National Health Fellows Programme is a flagship initiative designed to build a pipeline of highly skilled, reform-oriented leaders to support ongoing health sector transformation efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda. The onboarding of Cohort II follows its earlier introduction at the National Traditional and Religious Leaders Summit on Health held in February 2026, where the programme was positioned as a strategic bridge between community influence and health system strengthening. Speaking on the significance of the programme, the National Coordinator of the Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp), Dr. Muntaqa Umar-Sadiq, noted that the fellows represent a critical investment in the human capital required to drive reforms at scale. He emphasised that through structured engagement, mentorship, and deployment across priority areas, the initiative is designed to translate policy into measurable impact at both national and sub-national levels. The National Health Fellows Programme continues to serve as a platform for nurturing the next generation of health leaders, aligned with the Federal Government’s broader agenda to strengthen governance, improve health outcomes, and build a resilient health system for all Nigerians.   @muhammadpate @MuntaqaSadiq

National Health Fellows
National Health Fellows@healthfellowsng·
The Coordinating Minister of Health, Prof. @muhammadpate warmly acknowledged the dignitaries, officials, health fellows, and family members present at the FCT National Health Fellows onboarding and graduation event. He explained that although he received the invitation only a few hours earlier, he felt it important to attend in support of the fellowship programme. He congratulated both the graduating fellows and the newly onboarded cohort 2, wishing them success in their service journey. The core message centers on the Renewed Hope agenda, which he describes as more than a political slogan. He presented the renewed hope agenda, as a call for Nigerians to take responsibility for building a better country, especially in the health sector. According to the Minister, real national transformation will come from the collective efforts of Nigerians, not outside saviours. He also emphasizes fairness and merit in opportunity sharing. While talent exists in every part of Nigeria, he argues that opportunities have not always been distributed equally. He noted that the fellowship is designed to correct that imbalance by giving capable young Nigerians, selected on merit, a fair chance to contribute to Nigeria's national development. He concluded by reinforcing the importance of the health fellows as fresh minds and future builders of a stronger Nigeria. 🎥Watch full video here: youtu.be/ENtW7Xbp7K0 #NHF #FromAcrossNigeria #StarsEverywhere #NHF2 @Fmohnigeria @SWApGov @NphcdaNG

Federal Ministry of Health, NIGERIA
MEDIA BRIEF FG ADVANCES BHCPF 2.0, APPROVES ₦32.8BN TO STRENGTHEN PRIMARY HEALTHCARE NATIONWIDE Abuja, Nigeria | 24 March 2026 — The Federal Government has approved the disbursement of ₦32.8 billion under the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) for Q1 2026, advancing BHCPF 2.0 to strengthen primary healthcare delivery, improve maternal and child health outcomes, and expand access to essential services nationwide. The decision was reached at the Quarter 1 2026 meeting of the Ministerial Oversight Committee (MOC), where reforms were advanced to drive more efficient financing, stronger coordination, and measurable frontline results. The BHCPF is a core Federal Government financing mechanism designed to provide predictable funding, reduce out-of-pocket costs, and improve access to quality care, particularly for vulnerable populations. At the meeting, gateway agencies; NHIA, NPHCDA, NCDC presented implementation updates. Representatives of ALGON and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) also provided field-level insights and recommendations, reflecting progress in expanding service delivery, strengthening public health response, and improving financial protection for Nigerians as the country advances towards Universal Health Coverage. A key focus was the accelerated rollout of BHCPF 2.0 under the Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp), aligning financing, service delivery, and accountability mechanisms to deliver improved health outcomes nationwide, in line with the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative (NHSRII). Priority interventions reviewed include: · Priority interventions reviewed include: · MAMII- driving targeted, data-led action to reduce maternal and newborn deaths · HOPE PHC - improving service readiness, workforce capacity, and PHC performance · NHF (National Health Fellows Programme) - strengthening leadership, accountability, and delivery across the health system The Committee also reviewed progress on the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS), alongside broader maternal and child health indicators, reinforcing emergency response and lifesaving care. Speaking at the meeting, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, stated: “Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we are deliberately aligning financing with outcomes. BHCPF 2.0 ensures that resources translate into real improvements in service delivery, particularly at the primary healthcare level where most Nigerians access care.” The Honourable Minister of State, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, added: “This is about outcomes Nigerians can see and feel — safer deliveries, improved emergency response, and functional primary healthcare centres.” The Permanent Secretary, Daju Kachollom S. mni, emphasised coordination and accountability as critical to sustained impact. The Committee adopted key resolutions to strengthen implementation, including structured private sector engagement, revised emergency transport tariffs, faster programme reviews, and reinforced quality assurance across emergency medical services. The MOC, chaired by the Coordinating Minister, with the Permanent Secretary as Vice Chairman and the Honourable Minister of State as Alternate Chair, provides oversight for the Fund. The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare calls on states, partners, and the private sector to align with BHCPF 2.0 priorities. Nigerians are encouraged to utilise primary healthcare services as access to quality, affordable care continues to expand nationwide. @muhammadpate @SalakoIziaq @MuntaqaSadiq
