Olise can’t carry the ball longer than 10 yards, his 1v1 is dependent on the defender committing first, not enough variety in his 1v1s to be a proactive dribbler, hence he plays with a one touch, Lucho has dropped Fabian next to Nuno & it’s been lights out for you peoples BITW.

Marc Pubill is probably my biggest “loss” for the World Cup.
He’s been the best CB in LaLiga this season alongside Cubarsi, but I bet he won’t make the WC.
Got hurt in the last window and, more importantly, this is the start of Spain’s defensive transition.

I do think Simeones fell behind a bit post 2018 but this season he was on for a a copa del Rey which his players bottled chances. And I’m contention for a ucl final, so not bad at all

Simeone haters don’t understand that he’s the reason Atleti are even viewed as a club in contention to win major trophies. They were no different than midtable teams like osasuna/Celta before he took over. His impact at Atleti is more than just silverware

Bayern & PSG just look a level above whoever wins the other tie.
Anything can happen in a final, ofc. Atleti beating the champs of Spain, England (??), and then Germany or France would be stellar.

Titles are won with a bit of luck and I believe we may have used all ours up on Gabriel not getting sent off for a stone wall red card.
Thought we were actually quite good? and easily could have got a draw. Having Odegaard made a big difference to recent games, and Havertz was good if you ignore the fact he probably just lost us the league with that header.

THIS CAN'T BE REAL. People are of course going to snark at this, but he is big, quick and fast, athletic and can score with head and feet. Having him on the end of Lamine Yamal activities would be interesting. If his clause is indeed 40m, just take the Rashford 30 and be useful.
