Sometimes people think you’re naive, but you’re simply choosing mercy. Allowing them dignity. If you were to speak all that you’ve observed, their ego’s fragile structure would collapse beneath the weight of truth. You withhold not from fear, but from compassion.

a gentle reminder: closure doesn't always come from conversations. Sometimes it comes from accepting that some people will never understand the impact of their actions, and you don't need them to in order to move forward.

On the 13th of October, 1990, we took to the streets of Johannesburg and declared that our existence is valid. This Pride month, we honour the legacy of those who marched, so we can live. Our rights are currently being contested, now is not the time for complacency.
