After over a decade in social work, Dustin Coello ’26 returned to school to pursue his MSW while serving families in his community. At APU, he found a Christ-centered education, meaningful mentorship, and a supportive cohort that reflects the care he brings to his work every day.

Growing up in Nepal, Anita Tamang ’26 experienced the life-changing power of language and is dedicated to giving that same gift to others. Through her Master’s in TESOL at APU, she is seamlessly combining her faith and education to uplift her community and transform the world.

APU’s Institute for Faith, Leadership, and Service hosted the Kaleo Youth Worship Night, bringing together over 150 youth alongside pastors and ministry leaders. The evening featured vibrant worship from Jesus Use Me and a message from Nohán Cruz on identity rooted in love.

For senior art major Brandon Cooper ’26, spending dozens of hours on a single illustration is about more than perfecting his craft—it’s a heartfelt invitation for others to slow down and notice the wondrous, hidden details in God’s creation.

Nothing beats good food, great music, and even better company! We loved seeing the APU community come together to relax and recharge at the Campus Life Last Bash. This was a perfect way to end the semester on a high note before finals next week.

APU’s IFLS hosted its first mental health conference themed, “Leading Whole: Mental Health and Thriving for Diverse Pastors and Ministry Leaders.” This event brought together over 80 pastors and ministry leaders for a day of encouragement, refreshment, and equipping.

Hosted by the APU School of Business and Management, this annual Shark Tank-style competition gives students the thrilling opportunity to pitch their innovative business concepts directly to a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs.

Huge congratulations to Evelyn Wang for winning first place and $4,000 with her financial literacy startup, FinAsk, and to Jonas Teeter and Javan Johnson for taking home second place and $1,500 for their Christian apparel brand, New Flavors, at last night's Zuventurez!
