John Garrett was my camera boat driver a few years ago and I left his truck running after parking it. It was really quiet! I felt like an idiot. I'm glad he's crushing them. He's a good dude who worked hard to get there.

I went to the Diet Classic, got a free bucket. And yes I wore a BASS shirt. It was fine. Kinda boring. Best of luck to you, evil empire. Hard for me to get worked up over any of this stuff anymore.

@Bryan_Brasher @JHawklawyer Tyler I was told by many of the people who left that they were building an organization designed to destroy us. So I’m never gonna really be cool with them. I’ve been out of the industry 1.5 years, and I can still get worked up about it sometimes.

It’s 2021 and I’m going to the Hall of Fame reception at the Classic and who walks up but Kevin VanDam. I guess he expected me not to still be mad he left, but I absolutely still was and told him he made a horrible mistake.

@MrCatphin Totally valid question! It was absolutely their right to do it, and I'm glad you enjoy it. But their hope was to destroy us, I know this because a bunch of them said it to my face. I had a 4 year old kid at home and I really liked having a job. I took it personally.

@bassgifs I ask this mainly out of ignorance, but what is it that was so bad about them all leaving to make a different league? As a fan, I enjoy both and think there’s plenty of room in the sport for both.

But I remember how it went down. And all them guys are never gonna look as mighty as they did before they tried to destroy BASS. That’s part of your legacy too, Kev.
