What if I told you that this exact same thing you’re watching in this video happened in my parish tonight? 😳🔥 And mind you, I live in a village in Africa… yet the same Latin Exsultet, the Paschal Candle, the bonfire, literally everything, was done exactly the same way here. This is what we mean when we say the Catholic Church is One and Universal. Same liturgy. Same order. Same faith across continents, cultures, and languages. God is not the author of confusion… and this kind of beauty and unity? It speaks for itself. ✨ #Easter

“We should live our lives knowing that one day we shall stand before God and be judged, yet atrocities are on the rise. We lost children in Ggaba who were killed mercilessly. The innocent children did not know they were going to die; you can imagine the killer may even have shown them the knife, and they could not fight back because they trusted that person to protect them. Such acts must stop,” said Kampala Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere during Easter Mass. #NTVNews 📸Michael Kakumirizi

A blessed and happy Easter Sunday! Our Lord and Brother, You conquered because You entrusted Yourself to the Father, because You placed Yourself into His hands. Jesus, my Friend and Brother, help me to entrust myself, to place myself into the hands of Your Father and our Father. Help me to go beyond, far beyond, to arrive where You are. Blessed Holy Saturday, Let us pray, O God, who make this most sacred night radiant with the glory of the Lord's Resurrection, stir up in your Church a spirit of adoption, so that, renewed in body and mind, we may render you undivided service. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen

Heavenly Father, thank You for open doors we've been too afraid to walk through. Thank You for Your patience with our hesitation, the way You hold the door open without rushing us or shaming us for taking long. Father today we ask for the boldness to move on what You've already prepared. "See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name." Revelation 3:8. Father, You did it for the church at Philadelphia. They had little strength. Not much power. Not impressive resources. But You set a door before them that no man could close. Do it again for us today. We're not waiting for more strength. We're walking through the door with what we have. Through Christ our Lord. AMEN.

Why doesn't the media talk about the peacekeepers killed by Israel in Lebanon? Israel deliberately killed three UN Indonesian peacekeeper and wounded others in Lebanon. Israel cannot continue to be treated as a full member of the UN. Attacking UN peacekeepers is an abomination which was in the past perpetrated by terrorists, but never by members of the UN. Some of you pretended to care what the UN had to say in 1948. Do you care that the UN of today has had more UN personnel killed in the last 2 years than in its history. This is the moment we can salvage what remains of the UN and international law. I call on everyone to unite for the sake of our humanity and to end impunity for violating international law.

@Truth_matters20 We need not only believe in Jesus, we need to believe Him when He teaches and commands us. Faith alone is dead and not saving. We are saved by the grace of Christ received in a living faith working through love. Without love, we've missed the point of Christ and salvation.

No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends (Jn 15:13). Lord God, today I contemplate the passion of your Son. I see the great love and his willingness to die for me. Help me respond generously to your Son’s love and offer my life to you.
