Thanks Thomas Cubitt @TCPhotography18 for this beautiful shot. It one of our fabulous foxes waking from a snooze. It was rightly chosen by BBC's Countryfile Magazine (May issue) as Photo of the Month in the readers' image section. Well done, Thomas.

Due to the forecast of extreme winds and rain, we have taken the difficult decision to CLOSE THE CENTRE ON FRIDAY 18 FEB (TOMORROW) to safeguard visitors & staff. Those that have pre-booked have been emailed. Thanks for your patience.

1 squirrel with the appetite of 3, caught by keeper Jess. A reminder...from tomorrow we're open daily up to Sun 27 Feb for half term. Why 2 weeks? Surrey, Kent & East Sussex schools are off in the 1st week. West Sussex are off in the 2nd week. So, more chances to treat yourself.

Here's a couple of corking shots from @amyhumphries_shots Spot the difference! A wonderful weasel and a super stoat, in that order! Or are they? Stoats are a bit larger than weasels with a longer tail. If the tail has a black tip you know it's a stoat, totes! #magicalmustelids

Let it rain down on me! What a soggy May, but there's some excellent photo opps to be had. This photo of Flo, enjoying a shower, was taken by talented young photographer Will Stokes (age 12) last weekend. Fabulous!

We've loved having visitors back & our animals enjoyed seeing their adoring public once again. We quickly sold out of tickets this first week back, but if you missed out, don't despair! We still have spaces on the Bank Hol weekend Sat 1 May - Mon 3 May. britishwildlifecentre.co.uk/product/day-ti…

Stay at home! With the stricter tier 4 measures now in place, sadly, we have had to temporarily close the Centre. Emails are still being checked and we'll respond to you as soon as we can. A Merry Christmas from us all. We long to welcome you back in 2021. Pic: Matt Binstead

The power of 3! Today's announcement has put us & much of the South East into Tier 3☹️. As an outdoor attraction, we can stay open 🙂 with the usual Covid protocols in place 😷! Our Coffee Shop will serve takeaway food only. Stay safe and we hope to welcome you over Christmas.
