My wife has been telling me that I am likely a high functioning Autist. I finally looked into it and so far it looks like she hit the nail on the head. I totally relate to the idea of life being reframed and finally making sense. I'm in my mid-40s and she is the only one who ever brought that up to me so I felt for sure she was probably just generalizing. Then I looked into it and it felt like a very accurate description of the way I think. Regardless, we are who we are. The more we know about ourselves the better we can manage ourselves. So I call it a win.

I'm having a hard time getting through The Exorcist so I'm giving The Creep Tapes a shot. I'll finish The Exorcist at some point. It feels very cookie cutter to me and I'm about 5 episodes in. I hope season 2 picks up.

@FANGORIA This is awesome. To be fair though, going up against Star Wars these days doesn't hit the same. Star Wars should take note & hire passionate creators instead of money grabbers and activists. Hopefully this changes the landscape and trickles down to other genres and properties.

If you enjoy a horror movie you are a horror fan. If you are a walking horror encyclopedia you are a horror fan. If you only enjoy Jaws you are horror fan. You don't have to know anything about horror, you just have to enjoy a horror film to be fan.

This is so awesome. Curry Barker has a great mind but he is far from the only creator on YouTube whose work I've preferred over Hollywood recently. "Hollywood Slop" should be a term. Where they throw things at the wall, independent creators carefully craft masterpieces.

The F13 movies used the same formula over and over again and when it came time to change it up the ideas weren't that good. @WeWatchedAMovie I personally feel that a lot of independent creators who upload to YouTube have blown Hollywood out of the water in the 2020s. I often hop from one good film to another on free platforms where Hollywood has a few hits a year on average.
