@BEAR_Scotland hey guys who's responsible for the maintance and upkeep of road signage on the a720 Edinburgh bypass from gogar roundabout. The signage is covered by overgrown trees and it's difficult to see how to join the M8 from it. Ta

‼️ UPDATE: Following delays due to wet weather, one additional overnight closure is required to complete road marking works at #M9/#M80 Junction 9. The southbound M9 between Junctions 11 and 9 will be closed from 19:30 until 06:00 on the night of Monday 27 April.

Today, John Baird and Scarlett McGuire visited Queensferry High School for a STEM careers event, speaking to 100+ S3 pupils about careers and apprenticeships at BEAR. Pupils also took on a jelly tot and toothpick geodesic dome challenge.

@stewartgreenuk Hi Stewart, sorry you were delayed. Roadside signs were in place around these works and along the diversion route, however if you are referring to overhead gantries in advance of the works, these are controlled by @trafficscotland, who will be able to advise what was in place.

@BEAR_Scotland any reason why the M80 is closed tonight at J3 with zero forewarning in the form of signage? It is incredibly frustrating and caused a 20minute delay to my journey that could have easily been avoided. This keeps happening with unannounced road closures and subsequent diversions and delays. We keep being told by our overlords that cars are polluting the environment, yet these closures add to journey length and time sending yet more fumes into the atmosphere. How hard can it be to put a sign up saying road ahead closed before the M73 split or is it just a classic case of incompetence and mismanagement?

@JamesMelville Hi James, BEAR Scotland is responsible for maintaining the M90/A90 up to Dalmeny - beyond this it is the responsibility of City of Edinburgh Council. We inspect the section we are responsible for twice a week and are content it is currently in good condition.

When are you going to fix this @BEAR_Scotland? The potholes on this road are a disgrace and dangerous for motorists. ⬇️

@ferguson_s54767 Hi Sharon, we maintain these lights. Our electrical team is aware of the issue and is currently awaiting delivery of the parts needed to repair the signals. The delivery is expected this week, and once received, the team will carry out the repairs as soon as possible.

@BEAR_Scotland can you tell me who controls the traffic lights at the Old Craighall junction just off the A1 at Musselburgh? Every day at rush hour the traffic is queueing dangerously onto the A1. The traffic lights at the bottom of hill are only letting 2 to 3 cars through. 1of2
