First it was gel balls and the response was “it’s a kid’s toy” Then a pellet gun: “well, it’s only pellets” Next it will be an assault rifle and the response will be: “What? how?” Our leaders need to take this seriously before someone is killed cp24.com/local/toronto/…

Credit should be given where credit is due Kudos to two staff from @OntariosDoctors for upholding the code of conduct and removing a member from last night’s Annual General Meeting A reminder that racism must never be tolerated and OMA meetings are not fora for personal agendas

Mr. Mastracci has done an excellent job of documenting the rise of antisemitism in Canada What he fails to mention is that he has played a key role in this rise of hatred against Jews If he wants @bnaibrithcanada‘s next report to show a decline, maybe be he should go offline
Davide Mastracci@DavideMastracci

B’nai Brith has released its latest “antisemitism audit.” As always, it is receiving breathless coverage from mainstream Canadian media, ostensibly because it has found a newsworthy rise in antisemitism. But does B’nai Brith ever find that antisemitism has gone down or stayed about the same? Here are headlines about most reports the group has released since it started doing so in 1982. I compiled most of these for an article I published in November 2023 critiquing the reports, titled, “The ‘Rising Antisemitism’ Narrative Is A Distraction From Genocide.” 1982: “Anti-semitism on rise, B’nai B’rith reports” 1983: “Anti-Semitism down, says B’nai Brith study” 1984: “Increase shown in number of acts of anti-Semitism” 1988: “Anti-Semitism on the rise in Canada, B’nai B’rith says” 1989: “Anti-Semitism up: Report” 1990: “Anti-Semitism keeps climbing, says B’nai Brith” 1991: “Anti-Semitism at highest level in decade, B’nai Brith reports” 1992: “Growing anti-Semitism ’disturbing,’ B’nai Brith says” 1993: “B’nai Brith report says anti-Semitism on increase” 1994: “Anti-Semites spreading hate in cyberspace says Jewish group” 1995: “Jews in Canada face more anti-semitism” 1996: “Anti-Semitic incidents declined in 1996” 1997: “Anti-Semitism falls again: But Internet grows as hotbed of hate, B’nai Brith reports” 1998: “Anti-Semitism on rise in Canada, audit finds” 1999: “Incidences of anti-Semitism up in Canada” 2000: “Anti-Semitism is on the rise: B’nai Brith” 2001: “B’nai Brith Canada reports sharp rise in anti-Semitic incidents” 2002: “Anti-Semitism on the rise” 2003: “Anti-Semitic hate crimes on rise, says B’nai Brith” 2004: “B’nai Brith says anti-Semitic incidents are on the rise” 2005: “Anti-Semitism at record high” 2006: “Anti-Semitic incidents soaring, B’nai Brith says” 2007: “Anti-Semitic incidents hit record high, report finds” 2008: “Anti-Semitic incidents on the rise, B’nai Brith warns” 2009: “B’nai Brith Canada says reports of anti-Semitism at all-time high” 2010: “Anti-Semitism on rise; New report worries B’nai Brith” 2011: “B’nai Brith audit shows rise in acts of anti-Semitism” 2012: “Anti-Semitic acts on the rise, B’nai Brith says” 2013: “While a decrease is always welcome, the incidents reveal the unrelenting nature of antisemitism in Canada.” 2014: “The year 2014 saw the highest number of antisemitic incidents ever recorded by B’nai Brith” 2015: “Antisemitic Harassment on the Upswing in Canada: B’nai Brith Audit” 2016: “Anti-Semitic incidents on the rise in Canada: B’nai Brith” 2017: “Anti-Semitic incidents on the rise: B’nai Brith” 2018: “Record number of anti-Semitic incidents fuelled by online hate: B’nai Brith” 2019: “Number of anti-Semitic incidents on the rise” 2020: “Anti-Semitic acts jump 18.6% in 2020, says B’nai Brith report” 2021: “Canada Saw Record Levels Of Antisemitism In 2021, Audit Finds” 2022: “Antisemitic incidents down slightly after all-time high in 2021, B’nai Brith says” 2023: “Report warns of dramatic rise in antisemitic incidents in Canada in 2023” 2024: “Antisemitism reached ‘perilous, record-setting heights’ in 2024” 2025: “Antisemitic incidents hit another record high in 2025, B’nai Brith reports” readthemaple.com/the-rising-ant…

Not only are posts like this vile, spreading false modern day blood libels with the effect of worsening antisemitism in Canada But this one is not even creative It’s as if he simply stuck his hand into a bowl of racist jargon and posted whatever he pulled out without thinking

I still remember when @picardonhealth interviewed me in 2007 for an article on the impending #Nozinan shortage For me it was like being noticed by a celebrity I’ve had a number of interviews since, especially in my leadership role at @OntariosDoctors, but that one was special

It's my work anniversary -- 39 years and counting at The Globe and Mail. A lot has changed over those four decades, but it's still the best place to work in Canadian media. theglobeandmail.com/authors/andre-… via @globeandmail #journalism

Hatred of any group of people is incompatible with being qualified to be a physician Sadly there are many people (including doctors) who hate Jewish physicians who support the existence of their indigenous homeland That’s antisemitism Get help before your hate consumes you ☮️

@jerryfaust You are correct, the victims were from many nations. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that he forgives “collateral damage” if Jews were the intended target, but condemns it if terrorists he supports were the target.

@BermanPCMD And some of the ppl killed on 10/7 *were Canadians* too- and they were killed on purpose too. And IIRC some of the 10/7 victims weren’t even Jewish, they were Arab Israelis and/or residents from Thailand, other nations. But Mastracci isn’t remembering 10/7 victims. 🙁

The hypocrisy here is stunning Apparently there is no condemnation when 1200 Jews are deliberately slaughtered by Hamas in a single day But when a Canadian is inadvertently killed because Lebanon failed in its obligation to disarm Hezbollah, suddenly it’s the Zionists’ fault
Davide Mastracci@DavideMastracci

Zionist charity in Canada subsidized by our tax dollars responds to Israel killing a Canadian citizen by saying, “Sometimes you have to make war to have peace.”
